The BUZZZZZZZZZ

The "fine" establishment Mcintyre's has been under a new owner this last part of the year. No more owned by senior Councilmen and his partner from city hall. It we'll be missed, the city offical owned bar were people went to feel important. But don't count out city employees out completely. A city finest has relationships in the bar. The Concern_Vliet wonders when the drive arounding city worker, which everyone knows went out on a undercover age bar sting with his kid, will try to get served from Macs. But some advice for the next time undercover sting takes place, don't let the underager drink the beverages he receives and maybe you'll be the case. Thats so funny, fines dropped because of the underager drinking during the sting, hahahaha, really happen last spring.

Police Chief? Here's a tip

The Mayor is going to be selecting a new Police Chief in the next couple of weeks and we here at Concern Vliet would like to give good 'ole Bobby Cakes a few ideas for his important selection. First, make sure the new police head can coach football. Yes, coach the Watervliet High football team. How great would that be, huh? Whats that they say, "Kill 2 birds with 1 stone." The high school team is no longer a force in section 2 football. All the good ole boys from Vliet teams past moved out of the city and started family elsewhere and the, well players now ain't that good as they were before. And hey look, thats the same dilemma the City poilce is in. I can see it now, a police chief that can manage a 2 minute drill and a football coach who can give directions on the next hooker(a plague in the city now) bust from the coaches box at the high school.

the worst around........

Without a doubt to anyone who has been to the Vliet Golden Arches, it is the worst one around hands down/slam dunk. Its the same as always: 15 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers: customer service that is pitiful: workers appearances are obvious not a requirement: order 2 double cheeseburgers and get home to find a filet o fish thats been sitting round for 3 hrs. Please shut this down and make it a ahhhhhhhhhhhhh a car lot?

According to our councilman's website he has/will run a series of "informational segments " about the new 29% tax increase. There are 2 at this time of this blog. Its alot of General tax balance garble about the tax increase, but not alot of facts to pinpoint which we all want and we can only guess here at Concern Vliet blog that the daily "soundoff's" in the Troy paper that state maybe the obvious reasons is the way to go. The councilman hasn't dared to touch that only by stating, well read our last blog for the quote.

Taxes for Sale

It's going to be a 30% tax increase for residents of Watervliet Our newest "save the city" Councilman is quoted by stating" This year's budget is a real budget." What the heck was the last one, fake? C'mon Councilman tell what do you mean by that. Was it misuse of funds? Tell us Councilman. According to the Councilman, in previous years, officials under estimated budget funds for fire and police overtime but also states "Police and fire overtime have been fairly consistent." Consistent with what? Now are only relief is a "early Christmas present" from our Assemblyman...Uh oh
